Raluca Bem Neamu

Raluca Bem Neamu graduated History and Theory of Art faculty and the MA in Audio-Video Communication. She worked as the Head of Education, Communication and Cultural Projects Department in the National Museum of Art of Romania for more than 10 years and then she founded a cultural NGO specialized in cultural education for children and young people named Da’DeCe Association (I Wander Why Association). She participated to different training programs as follows: Summer Institute for Museum Professionals (New York University, 2006), Training Program in Cultural Management and Trainer of Trainers in Cultural Management (Phare Program. 2000-2001) etc.

She is trainer in different fields: project management, cultural management, museum education, audience development in cultural institutions. She has a wide experience in project management as manager of cultural projects, evaluator of cultural projects and also trainer in this field. Raluca has a special interest in storytelling as a method of interpreting heritage and she is a co-author of a couple of volumes about this subject (Shadow Theater in Museums, ed. Tritonic, București, 2010; Museum Theater: Perspectives and Experiences, ed. Tritonic, București, 2009).

Raluca also wrote chapters in the following volumes: Public Relations in Museums, ed. Tritonic, București, Project Manager. Guide for Professionals, Ed. Centrul de Pregătire Profesională în Cultură, 2007, Bucuresti; Developing Educational Services in Museums, Centrul de Perfecţionare, Educaţie Permanentă şi Management, 2006, Project Management versus Organisational Management, Centrul de Perfectionare, Educatie Permanenta şi Management, 2006. She is also a national correspondent of the European Museum Academy.
